Born Learning Trail Painting Experience

Born Learning Trail

Help us Paint the Town "Read" with the Born Learning Trails!

United Way of Martin County is partnering with the YMCA of the Treasure Coast and PNC Bank to create a Born Learning Trail at the Teddy Bear Academy and we are looking for volunteers to help make it happen.

The Born Learning Trail is a series of 10 interactive learning activities at local parks for young children and families. The goal is to help parents and caregivers support early education for young children and build learning critical for school readiness.

Volunteers are needed to help paint the walking path as part of the Born Learning Trail's interactive activities. The volunteer painting experience will take place on:

Monday, April 1, 2024
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

YMCA of the Treasure Coast
1700 SE Monterey Rd
Stuart, FL

Additional Details:

  • Refreshments will be provided.
  • Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty/stained. A United Way shirt would be ideal! And, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen.
  • Each volunteer will have a section of the path to paint and will be provided with all the necessary tools, including stencils (no artistic ability required!)
