The United Way of Martin County Community Leaders’ Breakfast, graciously underwritten by Florida Power & Light Company, is a celebration of past accomplishments and a rally to inspire our leaders to achieve even more for our community.
The beautifully-appointed dining room of Piper’s Landing in Palm City was filled with some of the brightest lights in local business, non-profit and philanthropic worlds, as United Way of Martin County kicked off its 2017-18 Annual Campaign.
Co-chairs Bob and Amy Brunjes were joined by a cabinet comprised of Ted Astolfi, Ian Cotner, Cindy Giles, Toby Overdorf, Elliot Paul, Kevin Powers, Marsha Powers, Jean Laws-Scott, Jay Spicer, Michelle Tierney, and Susan and Tom Whittington.
A stirring keynote speech by Palm City resident, Mark Rodgers, founding partner and general counsel of Frontline Athletic Management, discussed the role of “game changers”, not just for our own communities, but for society in general.
