Help for Those Facing Financial Hardship
At United Way of Martin County, we understand that financial hardship can happen to anyone. Whether it’s an unexpected medical bill, job loss, or rising living costs, the strain can be overwhelming – and we’re here to help.
We work closely with trusted program partners like The Salvation Army and House of Hope to provide critical assistance to individuals and families struggling to make ends meet. Together, we help our neighbors cover essential expenses – like rent, utilities, and basic needs – so they can stay safely in their homes and avoid further crisis.
Much of this support is made possible through the Publix Emergency Fund, which allows us to assist hard-working individuals and families experiencing extenuating circumstances. This fund provides a vital safety net when life takes an unexpected turn.
Our goal is to not only offer short-term relief, but to connect people with long-term solutions and supportive services that lead to greater financial stability.
If you're in need of assistance or know someone who is, please call us at 772-283-4800. We're here to listen, help, and guide you to the right resources.
