Alicia is one of our rockstar volunteers who has become part of the United Way family.
Every Thursday afternoon, Alicia visits our office to help with shredding, something she has proudly done for more than 25 years. But as more of the world goes digital, we've found ourselves running low on documents for her to shred.
For Alicia, this work is much more than a task. It provides purpose, routine and a chance to make a meaningful contribution each week. That's why we're proud to offer secure document shredding to our community at no cost. Community members can drop off documents at our office, where they're safely stored until Alicia works her way through them during her weekly volunteer shift.
Shredding Drop-Off Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Shredding Drop-Off Location: United Way of Martin County (10 SE Central Pkwy, Suite 101, Stuart)
