Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of local businesses, community organizations, individual donors, sponsors, devoted volunteers and Santa, of course, the United Way Holiday Project was a resounding success. The result? A magical Christmas morning for countless families in need.

United Way of Martin County benefits from the guidance, leadership and advocacy of a dynamic and dedicated 21-member board of directors. The organization welcomes its 2023-2024 executive officers, board members and campaign committee.

Geoff Lieberman, vice president store manager, Macy's Treasure Coast, will serve as chair of the board of directors. Lieberman has been a United Way board member since 2015.

United Way Announces Over $1.7 Million Investment in Martin County

In the true spirit of the saying “It takes a village,” the United Way of Martin County has awarded 44 Community Impact Grants totaling $959,910 for the upcoming year. These funds will support 32 local agencies tasked with implementing various programs aimed at enhancing education, health, and financial stability for residents of Martin County. The grants were presented during the Big Reveal – United Way’s Community Impact Grant Award Celebration – sponsored by Capstone IT and STS Aviation Group.

United Way of Martin County installs Born Learning Outdoor Trails at New Monrovia Park

Learning happens everywhere a child goes, but parents, grandparents and caregivers may not always know how to support that learning. 

That won’t be the case at New Monrovia Park, where over a dozen volunteers painted the town “read” to promote literacy.  United Way of Martin County in partnership with the Martin County Board of County Commissioners and the Martin County CRA created an outdoor interactive early learning trail to help parents and caregivers turn excursions into fun learning moments.
